Join us for an evening of music from the 1940s featuring big band Tuxedo Junction and special guest Paul Gerni!
Tuxedo Junction is known for its big band sounds of the swing era and is the only regional big band group that has continued to perform for the past 40 years. Musicians from Peru, Logansport, Lafayette and Wabash make up this 11-member group. Swing tunes, ballads, smooth jazz and vocal arrangements highlight the versatility of the band.
Logansport native and 1966 LHS graduate Paul Gerni is a former Las Vegas crooner and Kansas City jazz singer (who also happens to be one of the best pool trick-shot artists in the world, having won 15 International Challenge Cups and 22 consecutive world championships).
Our 2021-22 season features movies and live entertainment each month celebrating our eight decades in operation!
A full bar will be available for those 21 and older with proper ID. All ages are welcome to attend.
The historic State Theatre hosts a variety of entertainment and educational programs including comedy shows, film festivals and concerts. The non-profit State Theatre Preservation Society's goal is to restore the circa 1940 art deco theatre and preserve it for the future use of the community of Logansport, Indiana.
