Experienced Maintenance/handyperson needed Immediately Need experienced maintenance person or carpenter to work on jobs around multiple North Whidbey project sites. Work includes daily maintenance of a historic event venue, apartments and personal residence. Should have experience in all or some aspects of building maintenance: Clean up, repairs, drywall, painting, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, electrical, building, plumbing, problem solving. Role also involves general daily improvements including landscape, pool care, moving furniture, cleaning exterior of property and working on new projects on multiple sites weekly wherever needed. Requirements: Heavy lifting, hauling, general labor. Assembling of cabinets, furniture, shelves, etc. Demolition, Painting, wallpapering and removal, all flooring, kitchen construction, bathroom remodels, plumbing, electrical. Ability to use power tools, measure, cut, and assemble framing material Physically able to lift 50 lbs or more Ability to read plans, respond to phone calls, texts, and follow instructions. Comfortable with working outside during all weather conditions. Vehicle for driving to multiple sites around the Whatcom and Island County properties. Must work well with all managers, people, guests and tenants without with courtesy and respect.
