Description

Join us for an educational seminar! WHY THIS CLASS MATTERS Many of the retirement strategies utilized by our parents have grown outdated and may no longer have application for those looking to retire today. This class compares and contrasts the old retirement paradigms of yesteryear and the new paradigms of today. Attendees will discover how to insulate themselves from the risks of rising taxes, Social Security taxation, and how to avoid common mistakes that increase the chances or running out of money as you distribute your assets in retirement. BALANCED FINANCIAL INFORMATION This course is designed to give each attendee a comprehensive and Plain-English financial education, while also exposing various pitfalls and risks that threaten to derail many retirees today. This event is purely educational – no specific products or services will be offered. TOPICS TO BE COVERED INCLUDE • How to avoid the #1 fear for retirees: Running Out of Money. • The latest Social Security changes and how to maximize the benefit your tax dollars paid for. • What is the SECURE Act of 2020 and how could it effect your retirement? • The impact of fees, taxes and penalties on your retirement income and what you can do about it. • The 6 questions every successful retirement plan needs to answer. • How to turn retirement accounts into paychecks for life. • How to limit or avoid huge market losses without sacrificing competitive return rates. "I work with clients to understand their current financial situation, explain what tools can be used to meet their financial goals, and maintain close contact to ensure the goals that were mapped out are on course." Brett Ruddell is a native Texan, who grew up in the TCU area. After serving four years in the United States Air Force, Brett attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received his degree in Business Finance.
