Free Screening: "Black Panther" Part of our 80th-season celebration! Join us for a FREE screening of “Black Panther” to celebrate the 2010s as part of our special 80th-season schedule! (From IMDB): After the events of Captain America: Civil War, Prince T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country's new king. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war. Our 2021-22 season features movies and live entertainment each month celebrating our eight decades in operation! A full bar will be available for those 21 and older with proper ID. All ages are welcome to attend. Running time: 2 hours, 14 minutes Rated PG-13 (prolonged sequences of action violence, and a brief rude gesture) The historic State Theatre hosts a variety of entertainment and educational programs including comedy shows, film festivals and concerts. The non-profit State Theatre Preservation Society's goal is to restore the circa 1940 art deco theatre and preserve it for the future use of the community of Logansport, Indiana.
