Free screening: "The Matrix" Part of our 80th-season celebration! Join us for a FREE screening of “The Matrix” to celebrate the 1990s as part of our special 80th-season schedule! (From IMDB): Thomas A. Anderson (Keanu Reeves) is a man living two lives. By day he is an average computer programmer and by night a hacker known as Neo. Neo has always questioned his reality, but the truth is far beyond his imagination. Neo finds himself targeted by the police when he is contacted by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), a legendary computer hacker branded a terrorist by the government. As a rebel against the machines, Neo must confront the agents: super-powerful computer programs devoted to stopping Neo and the entire human rebellion. Our 2021-22 season features movies and live entertainment each month celebrating our eight decades in operation! A full bar will be available for those 21 and older with proper ID. The non-profit State Theatre Preservation Society's goal is to restore the circa 1940 art deco theatre and preserve it for the future use of the community of Logansport, Indiana.
