Mt Baker Products, Bellingham's premier manufacturer of plywood, currently has an opening for a Forklift Operator for the swing shift (2 pm to 10:30 pm, M-F). Candidates with at least one year of forklift experience (certification not required) and the ability to work safely and efficiently are encouraged to apply for this immediate opening. Position Requirements: • Able to work in a team environment • Able to wear personal protection equipment, as required. • Able to lift up to 100 lbs; you will be manually flipping plywood panels that weight up to 100 lbs. • This position will cross train to help grade and patch; requires a good eye for detail and ability to differentiate between colors and species • Good communication skills and ability to read and follow instructions and the production schedule • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor • Be willing and able to work overtime, including weekends We Offer: Paid Time Off Group Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Plans 401k Plan Opportunities to cross-train and diversify skills
