Share your expertise and help local businesses You're invited to the launch of Merrimack Valley Strong, a regional effort in conjunction with Small Business Strong, to match experts and advisors with local businesses. MV Strong is seeking business advisors and functional specialists to offer assistance to local businesses, with a focus on supporting women and minority owned small businesses. You'll will be compensated for your time! Join us for this launch event to learn more about how Small Business Strong works, hear from current business advisors, and learn how you can be paid to help business in greater Haverhill! This free event is hosted by the UMass Lowell Innovation Hub, the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, and the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. All types of expertise is needed: legal, accounting, bookkeeping, marketing, information technology, website design, human resources, business planning, and more. The UMass Lowell Innovation Hub in Haverhill provides startup programming, coworking space and access to the UMass Lowell's faculty and research resources, as well as collaboration with mentors and sponsors. The new facility located along the Merrimack River in downtown Haverhill offers private offices, dedicated desks, a prototyping and fabrication lab, meeting and event spaces, community programs and more.
