Guided tour of this historic site includes restored prairie, heirloom gardens & the farmhouse. Open to MAMGA members only and their guests. IN 1978, Marcella Schumacher Randall, the only daughter of Henry Schumacher, donated 40 acres of land, including buildings to the Dane County Parks Commission. This became Schumacher Farm Park in Waunakee. The original farmhouse was built in 1908 and includes outbuildings of the same era. The tour with Schumacher Park Farm docents will include the 10 acre restored prairie, heirloom gardens and the farmhouse. Bring your own water and sun protection. This event is limited to 30 attendees, so register early. Registration closes August 9 at Noon.
