Join us for a 5 Week Summer Kid's Camp in Performing Arts! & Class proceeds help Act I- Act III nonprofit in renovating a Vintage Theater. Registration is now open for our Youth Program! Give your kids & teens a fulfilling experience this summer that will send them into the school year feeling creative and empowered. Research has consistently shown that an education in the arts will improve a students' academic performance! In addition, your children will have a place to spend their summer days that is not only enriching but enjoyable as well. Our classes are led by highly qualified instructors that know how to keep the class fun. We welcome students ages 6-16, and classes will be broken up into two groups to keep the material age-appropriate. We will be hosting 5 weeks of classes in the following subjects: Singing, Acting, Ballet, Ballroom, Theater, and Cotillion. Cotillion is meant to teach respectful manners to young people, and will be led with a modern approach. During the fifth week, students will rehearse for and participate in the Graduation Performance — which you are invited to attend! If your schedule requires an earlier drop off than 10am or a later pick-up than 3pm, supervision will be available at our studio. We are striving to make this program as affordable as possible for our community, and more cost effective than other childcare options. Students who participate in the Summer Youth Program will be eligible for scholarships to future fall programming. classes: July 12-August 13 / rehearsal & performance: August 20 & 21 cost: $1500 ($300 per week) (if this price point is out of your budget, please contact us regarding our "Sponsored Students" programming) ​Group 1: Ages 6-11 Monday - Friday 10am-3pm Group 2: Ages 12-16 Monday - Friday 10am-3pm 5 weeks of Daily Classes in Acting, Singing, Dance (Ballet & Ballroom), Music, Theater, and Cotillion Followed by a Dress Rehearsal & Performance Show All classes are 50 minutes long with a 10 minute break between them. Lunch will not be provided but students are welcome to bring snacks. Students will be asked to purchase an affordable costume piece for their final performance.
