Description

Camp out against homelessness to raise funds for Project H.O.P.E.! Zachary and Sarah St. Peter started Project HOPE in 2020 and help provide bags to the homeless population in Fayetteville. We try to make sure that the community has their basic needs met by at least having some food and water, hygiene products, and necessary essentials. We have some HUGE goals, and with God’s help we can do great things, and will hopefully be able to provide more than just basic needs in the future. With that being said, we are teaming up with Holy Trinity Episcopal Church to host our first ever event called Camp HOPE! On October 2nd we are camping out against homelessness at Holy Trinity here in Fayetteville, located at 1601 Raeford Road. To join you must pick up or print out the attached Sponsorship Form and fill it out as people donate to you. The goal is for each participant to get family, friends, and loved ones to sponsor you to come to this event, and all proceeds will go to Project H.O.P.E. The person who has the most money sponsored wins an Amazon gift card! We want people of all ages to join us, and there’s no minimum amount that has to be raised to come. We just want you to spread awareness on the homeless population and have fun doing it! The event will start at 5PM and will go until the following morning at 8AM. Dinner will be provided with a cookout feel to it. We’ll have a campfire with s’mores. We’ll have cornhole and other fun outdoor games. But most importantly we’ll be educating everyone on the homeless community not only in Fayetteville but in North Carolina and the United States as a whole. On top of that we will be assembling some bags that will go directly to the community! We are hoping to use some of this money for food and other essentials, but if enough is donated we are looking to buy a trailer and convert it into shower stalls to be able to provide showers and toileting options for our friends! If you or someone you know may be interested please follow the link to the event at https://fb.me/e/2KU5cFgJX and check us out on our website at www.projecthope1228.org for more information! If you cannot attend the event but wish to get involved we ask that you share this post with family and friends on and off of Facebook to spread the word. There is also a way to donate on our website if you can’t attend the event but are interested in helping. We love y’all and are so grateful for you constant love and support for Project H.O.P.E.
