Four day festival showcasing and celebrating experimental music and art throughout downtown Columbia, MO. Dismal Niche Arts presents the 6th annual Columbia Experimental Music Festival. Passes can be picked up at Hitt Records the week of the festival. Schedule: Thursday: Ami Dang 8pm at AP Green Chapel Friday: Armand Hammer w/ Patrick Shiroishi 7pm at Firestone Baars Chapel at Stephens College + After party TBA Saturday: Artists TBA at First Baptist Church of Missouri + After Party TBA Sunday: Yellow Eyes w/ Thom Nguyen 7pm at Firestone Baars Chapel at Stephens College With an emphasis on situating local and regional musical and artistic innovators and experimentalists within a larger national and global context, Dismal Niche Arts presents concerts, multi-disciplinary performances, art exhibitions and film/video screenings in a wide variety of public venues establishing it as an exciting and multifaceted grassroots organization.
