Testarossa Winery is seeking a team member wanting to develop their skills and knowledge in facility management Position The Facilities Technician Grade 1 is an entry level position responsible for assisting with indoor and outdoor facilities maintenance, as well as janitorial duties when needed. Being flexible and adaptive to the changing priorities of management and other departments is essential. Respecting and upholding stylistic wine and business goals is expected at all times. This full-time non-exempt position reports to the Facilities Director with interactions with all members of the winery, especially the Production and Hospitality department. ***New staff with a hire date between July 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021 are eligible for a $600 bonus. $300 paid after 60 days of active employment (minimum of 17 shifts worked for PT and 30+hrs/week for FT) and another $300 after 120 days of active employment (minimum of 34 shifts worked for PT and 30+hrs/week for FT). Responsibilities & Essential Functions • Under close supervision, assist the Facilities Director with repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on the building, equipment, fixtures and systems, including, but not limited to: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and construction projects. • Adhere to all project plans, timelines and instructions set forth by the Director of Facilities • Communicate frequently with Director of Facilities regarding project status, new/direct project requests or any potential problems. Professional Requirements • High School diploma • 1+ year of experience in construction, maintenance or facilities related role • Competence and comfort utilizing power tools, working at elevated levels, and following manuals or written instructions Work Environment & Physical Demands: • Work schedule may vary based on project timelines and business conditions. Most work weeks will adhere to Monday –Friday. Time of day will be mutually agreed to by both parties. • Ability to lift and carry up 50lbs frequently • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for the duration of the shift • Repetitive motions include, but are not limited to: reaching, lifting, grabbing, twisting, kneeling, crouching, crawling and squatting • Ability to work at elevated heights • Work typically performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
