Testarossa Winery is seeking a team member to provide an excellent appearance of the winery to customers and maintain a safe environment Position The Custodian is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and performing routine and comprehensive janitorial duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment for all of our guests and employees This full-time position reports to the Senior Production Manager and takes direction from the Lead Custodian with key interaction with members of every department. ***New staff with a hire date between July 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021 are eligible for a $600 bonus. $300 paid after 60 days of active employment (minimum of 17 shifts worked for PT and 30+hrs/week for FT) and another $300 after 120 days of active employment (minimum of 34 shifts worked for PT and 30+hrs/week for FT). Responsibilities & Essential Functions • Service and clean the restrooms, offices, kitchen and all public areas. • Help maintain production area to “tour ready” standards. • Ensure that all sanitation and safety duties are completed in a timely fashion. • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking equipment use to ensure that hazards are not created. • Assist with set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and ladders to prepare facilities for events. Professional Requirements • 3+ years of janitorial experience • Understand and carry out English literacy • Self-motivator and ability to work independently Work Environment & Physical Demands: • Available to work weekends and evenings • Ability to lift and carry up 50 lbs. frequently, walk or stand for prolonged periods of time, use of hands and arms, ability to crouch, kneel, and crawl, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
