This is a jumping off point for all of those women out there who wanted to try a martial art but weren't sure how to get started. This seminar will be free (donation based) and is designed to bring the complete beginner to some comfortability in a grappling space.
This seminar will be limited to 20 students and a promotion will be offered at the end of the seminar if you wanted to continue your training.
--What you will be learning--
•The general process of a standard Jiu Jitsu class
•Fundamental movements that are ubiquitous in all schools
•A few throws and trips designed to easily ground your opponent
•4 out of the 5 fundamental positions of Jiu Jitsu
•How to force someone to tap out utilizing arm lock and chokes
--Things to remember--
•Come into class with sporting cloths. (Think board shorts and tshirt)
•Bring a water bottle
•Common grappling etiquette. trimmed finger and toe nails, clean feet and hands
•Please wear shoes to class but never on the mats.
