Description

The American Heart Association Friends & Family class provides instruction in CPR and AED use but does not provide certification. The Friends and Family class is a non-certification class through the American Heart Association. This course provides CPR and AED instruction to persons looking for certification that do not require certification and would like to learn CPR to be able to assist a friend or family member in the event of a cardiac event. The course lasts approx. 3 hours, is video based and a book is provided. The minimum attendance requirement for this class is 6 persons. If the minimum attendance requirement is not met 1 week prior to the class date, the class will be canceled and refunds will be issued. If the class is held and you are unable to attend, a refund will not be given. For questions regarding CPR classes, contact the administrative office at 248-656-4717 prior to signing up. Public education services are provided by the Rochester Hills Fire Department which offers education to residents and businesses within the community.
