Shop Worker Job Responsibilities: • Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; staging and loading of vehicles • Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. • Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs. • Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. • Provides quality service by following organization standards. • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. • Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Completes reports by entering required information. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Shop Worker Qualifications / Skills: Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required Job: 50 % physical / 50 % sitting at computer Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Must be able to work in inclement weather and shop environment Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Position and duties subject to change Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Hours subject to change Potential to grow with company and position Experience not necessary, training provided Please respond to this posting with a resume and cover letter.
