Join us and learn to build high-quality inflatable boats that are used around the world. We need more long-term, full-time Finishers to learn the craft to build our boats. We will hire 3-5 at a time and bring them into our training classes as we go. Stop by our plant to meet us, get a tour and, then possibly be offered a job shortly after! www.inflatablesolutions.com We have dedicated ourselves to giving rescue workers, the coast guard, Navy SEALs, river rafting guides, and kayakers, the confidence to stay safe while performing with lightweight speed and agility on the water. We have been fully operational and safe throughout 2020; no downtime. Hours are 6am - 2:35 pm, Mon-Fri, and OT available. This is not temporary work - it is year-round, steady work. You may even get to ride in one of our boats on Humboldt Bay after you learn to build them! This is detailed work, and you will not be bored because you will move around to different stations and products as you master each process. We will provide all tools and personal safety protective equipment. You start as a trainee and have a built-in progression through Level 1-Level 3; so you can advance in skill, projects, and pay from $15 per hour to $18 per hour then up to $22+ per hour as a Finisher. First-year finishers have logged OT that adds an additional $3/hour to their base wage - AND you will also be eligible for employee discounts, quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and our benefits package including medical, dental, vision, employee assistance program, paid time off, holidays, and 401K. If you can use a tape measure and have experience building products, working on cars or appliances, painting, tiling, or working in kitchens and are interested in working in a fast-paced, craft-build production facility with a team of motivated hard workers - please send your resume or better yet, stop by the plant and get a tour and meet us in person. Must have reliable transportation as the bus does not arrive before 6AM shift; bike racks are inside the building. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Steady work in a fast-paced environment. Prior assembly and/or build experience is a plus (painting, building, mechanical work, automotive, labor are all acceptable). Education in construction technology or auto mechanics in combination with steady work history is also considered.
