Job description Share the preaching and teaching duties with the Senior Pastor to develop the congregation of believers and create a welcoming environment for visitors. Help Support the Sr. Pastor and Preach/Teach when called upon. Provide leadership and oversight to different Small Group Ministries that you oversee. Assist and work cooperatively with Senior Pastor, paid staff, and volunteers to firm up our infrastructure and develop leaders that will exhibit Godly character, competence, and commitment to the work of Jesus Christ. Cultivate meaningful relationships with missions organizations Attend Staff & Leadership Meetings. Be a liaison and communication link to the church body as well as an advocate for their needs. Take advantage of educational opportunities to enhance pastoral skills and develop spiritual gifts. Be willing to accept other responsibilities/duties assigned by the Senior Pastor.
