To help fund its projects and scholarship programs, the Monrovia Parks, Wilderness & Recreation Foundation will hold a virtual auction throughout the next week. Proceeds from the auction will be used toward the foundation's various projects, including rebuilding amenities and exhibits at Canyon Park, building shade at playgrounds and providing youth scholarships, officials said in a statement. The online auction will be held from July 18 to 23. Items up for bid include a four-night stay for two in Las Vegas, a California "glamping" getaway, a dog training package and four tickets to a Los Angeles Dodgers game.
