Press release from East Aurora School District 131: July 15, 2021 VNA Health Care offers COVID-19 vaccination services to individuals by appointment, walk-in or drive-thru. Moderna (age 18 and up) and Pfizer (only at Aurora – Highland), age 12 and up, are offered. Second dose appointments are scheduled at the time of the first vaccination. Existing patients, new patients, and the general public are welcome to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at VNA. COVID-19 vaccinations are free for all individuals, with or without insurance. VNA is not charging Medicare, Medicaid or insurance for the COVID-19 vaccination. See more information or schedule an appointment on the VNA Health Care website. VNA Health Care offers COVID-19 testing at their COVID-19 Community Testing Center located at 400 N. Highland Avenue, Aurora, and other locations. Testing is available by calling (630) 892-4355 and is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In collaboration with the City of Aurora, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has opened a drive-through lane at the current Illinois Community-Based Testing Site in Kane County, at 2450 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora. The site is located across from the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall at the I-88 and Farnsworth Ave. Interchange. Vaccinations will be offered from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. No appointment is necessary.
