JOHNS CREEK, GA — The City of Johns Creek marked the completion of the Ga. 141/Medlock Bridge Road at State Bridge Road intersection interim improvement project with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday. The project included restriping Medlock Bridge Road to include three southbound lanes and widening State Bridge Road to include three eastbound and westbound lanes near the intersection. It also included lengthening the left turn lane on eastbound State Bridge Road to northbound Medlock Bridge Road. The issues at the location that were corrected included: Traffic congestion at Medlock Bridge Road (Ga. 141) and State Bridge RoadCritical intersection feeding Johns Creek's economyMost congested intersection in north Fulton County The city said the project cost was roughly $;2.5 million.
