Press release from the Douglas County Government: July 15, 2021 Read On... Douglasville, Georgia -    Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) closed the Post Rd. bridge on October 16, 2020 to construct a new one.  GDOT held a final inspection on Wednesday, July 14, which Douglas County Department of Transportation staff attended.  Both determined that the bridge could be reopened.  This press release was produced by the Douglas County Government.
