Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/15/2021 Preliminary Information: On 7/15/21, around 4:42 pm, officers responded to 801 Harwell Rd NW, on a Person Shot call. Upon arrival, officers located a male with a single gunshot wound. The victim stated, he was walking on Harwell Rd when he was approached by an unknown male who demanded he give up everything, the victim stated he attempted to run away when he was shot. The victim was transported to Grady in stable condition. No suspect description was provided. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
