BirchStone Management 8950 Meridian Drive Amarillo, TX 79108 Contact: Jessica Flores - 972-626-5396 Farouk Altaie - 405-886-8162 Pay Range - $26.00 to $30.00 commensurate with experience Job Description : Electronic and Mechanical Technician Performs corrective and preventive maintenance, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains electrical and instrumentation equipment and panels in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. Will also be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of the manufacturing equipment, pallet sorting machines, conveyors, and forklifts. A successful candidate in this role will accomplish the following: ·Perform preventative/ predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, PLC, etc. ·Ability to inspect, test, repair, and maintain electric power equipment, motors (standard and VFDs), instruments and sensors, PLC maintenance and troubleshooting, HMI (Operator interface) programming, IT and network equipment maintenance (Ethernet, WAP, etc.). ·Inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical and instrumentation equipment, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as pumps, engines, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems and valves, conveyor systems, flow meters, gauges, etc ·Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) troubleshooting ·Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all manufacturing equipment ·Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells ·Maintain and repair pallet sorting equipment ·Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures ·Track and store department inventory, including spare parts ·Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization · Assist in mentoring junior technicians by providing guidance and directions to help them develop their skill set Physical Demands (Must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation): ·Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head ·Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists ·Walking in the FC and around area with great frequency ·Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, inching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) ·Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces ·Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours Basic Qualifications o High School diploma or equivalent o Minimum 3 years in related positions within an industrial environment with knowledge of methods, principles and practices of operating, maintaining and repairing associated machinery as well as electrical knowledge. o Able to work all days and shifts, including overtime (24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, including holidays) o PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows OS o Automated conveyor systems and controls o Repair of material handling equipment o Predictive/ Preventative maintenance tools and procedures o Blueprint and electrical schematic reading o Fault analysis of hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits (120V to 480V 3phase) and common utility/lighting circuits. o Electrical and electronic principles o Good knowledge and use of basic hand tools, I&E equipment Benefits Weekly Pay Medical/Dental/Vision after 30 days 401K, Life Insurance
