Hello, I’m looking for something really healthy to bury myself in. I’d like to join an established band or a startup. I’m usually the sole songwriter/show getter in my bands, and tend to get burned out. This time, I want to take a backseat and help round out your band. I love heavy music (esp. death metal), but do NOT want to play anything heavy. I want to play music that’s multi-dimensional. This is for me as much as it is for you. No metal, sludge, grunge (ok maybe grunge.) I literally hate punk, emo, or any -core. Pros: awesome at music, practice/recording space with full backline (drums, PA, bass/guitar amps), recording capabilities and knowledge. Uh… and I’m cool. Cons: I love too many genres. I will NOT waste my time with amateurs. I can’t stress this enough. Finding bandmates is like dating; I know my worth and my time is valuable. If you’re not good, that’s ok, but go practice and good luck to you. I’d prefer samples of your work before meeting up. If you don’t have any, that’s cool, but you better talk it up! I’m excited to see what comes of this.
