Position Summary: Sewing Assistant will work directly with Shop Owner in manufacturing or repairing boat covers. Majority of work to be conducted at shop located in Raytown, Missouri Position Responsibilities: Dart and mark adjustments to cover Sew alterations on sewing commercial machine Measure and cut material for cover support poles and re-enforcements Finish cover edges with hemming or binding Install snap gromets accurately Trim loose threads and remove tailor marks for customer delivery Qualifications: Concept of measurements, pattern making process, material uses Able to stand on feet for minimum of two hours Perform good balance and aware of surroundings Carry covers or trade tools upto 30lbs Work comfortably outside in elements and inside workshop Contact Information: K.
