Guitar / Bass Player looking for jam/band

Meets

Santa Fe NM

Description

Hey, I’m new to Santa Fe. Looking to maybe play some music with some people. Into: —Rock, Blues, Prog, Older Pop, some country, some (more classic) metal. —Electric or Acoustic Jams. —Playing some guitar and some bass. —Playing like once, maybe twice a week? —Possible gigs in the future. —Maybe working on being able to support with harmonies, but it’s not my strength right now. Not Really Into: —Playing just bass (but I would trade off with another guitarist in the band if that might work) —Aspiring pro bands (I am an actor and have a day job too, so music is a fun thing for me, although some gigs once ready could be cool.) —Extreme attitudes/perfectionsim. I’m going to mess up. Everybody does, but I like learning and getting better. What else: -I like beer, enjoying some of the local stuff since I got to town. 420 is not my thing, but I’m comfortable around it. -Can’t rehearse at my house, unfortunately. -41, comfortable around older or younger musicians if the chemistry and tastes are right. I’ve played for many years but am not experienced as a gigging musician. I play at home for fun, and I’ve played the occasional one-off gig and in some house jam bands. —Influences: Floyd, Dire Straits, Springsteen, U2, TP&HB, ACDC, Top, RATM, Radiohead, Explosions in the Sky, Stones, Metallica, Ozzy, Fleetwood Mac, Steve Earle, SRV, Eagles, Toadies, Black Crowes, Garry Clark Jr., Raconteurs, Black Keys, Police, Zeppelin, GnR, Joe Walsh. Also into weird eclectic stuff like film scores and Gustavo Santaolalla.
