WE ARE SEEKING A QUALIFIED TRAILER SERVICE TECH FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE!!! We are looking for a Service Technician that can weld/fabricate. We are a Local, Family, and Veteran owned and operated company looking for someone who wants to join the team. This is a full-time position for a Service Tech that will assist the Manager with service repairs and maintenance. Must be able to manage time efficiently, have a great work ethic with a positive attitude, and demonstrate a high sense of urgency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Completion of work orders, clear communication, diagnosis of trailer repair needs, including required parts and accurate labor/time estimates. *Accurately and efficiently performing quality repair and maintenance work on customer's flatbed or cargo trailer that meets acceptable standards within the estimated time or less. *Diagnosing basic mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and experience. *Performing necessary repairs using tools and equipment. *Taking Initiative to develop a skill set to become proficient in diagnosis and repair of any unfamiliar units or equipment. *Performing preventive maintenance on company vehicles, including lubrication and oil changes. *Unloading and assembling trailers. *Conducting pre-delivery service on new and used trailers to ensure excellent working order for the customer. *Maintaining a Clean and Safe work environment and equipment on an ongoing basis, as needed, and as directed by Lot Manager. *Performing any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Valid AZ driver's license High school diploma Must be able to read and write in English Ability to climb stacked trailers (approx. 13ft) Ability to lift 100 lbs. Note: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a mechanic shop environment. Some time will be devoted to unloading and assembling trailers which will require lifting, climbing, and/or carrying moderate to heavy amounts of weights and operating assigned equipment and vehicles. Call to set up an interview. Walk-ins welcome! Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00, Saturdays 9:00-2:00 Alternating half days and days off each week to include Saturdays every few weeks. Our service techs in Glendale are making $30+ an hour! Hourly plus commissions paid on every repair.
