Volunteer for Research Project- Rebuilding/ Relocation after Camp Fire

Hello everyone! I am a graduate student in sociology who was born and raised in California. I became interested in studying disasters after my town was affected by the Thomas Fire in 2017. This summer I am looking for volunteers to take part in a research project about rebuilding and relocation after the Camp Fire. The project will gather information about how current and former residents of Paradise decided whether they should stay or relocate after the fire, what the rebuilding process has been like, and how people feel about the future of Paradise and climate change in California. Volunteers will be interviewed for 30 to 45 minutes and asked about their experiences and views. All individuals who complete interviews will receive 25 dollars as a way to say thank you. Volunteers can be any adult that resided or had a business in the Paradise area at the time of the Camp Fire.
