As a YBC Bridge carpenter or YBC Bridge laborer you will have the satisfaction of being a part of a legacy of our beautiful YORK timber bridges while traveling across the United States. Job Responsibilities/Requirements for YBC Bridge Carpenter: • General timber construction tasks including cutting, drilling, erecting, and assembling of structures. • Fabrication and assembly of structures utilizing power tools, fasteners, and reading drawings. • Must be able to read drawings and lumber and hardware take-offs. • Previous carpentry experience working with wood structures. • Skid steer and lull operation a must - Heavy equipment operating and leadership skills are a PLUS. • Ability to work with and handle various types of tools, such as chainsaw, drills, jigsaw, generators, circular saw and table saw. • Possesses OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid or DOT a PLUS. • Painting and general bridge finishing tasks including pressure washing and sanding. • Working with others to complete site preparation and clean-up tasks. • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions & environments. • Ability to work at various heights. • Requires substantial physical demands and hand eye coordination. • Advancement to the next level in responsibilities and pay is encouraged. Job Responsibilities/Requirements YBC Bridge Laborer: • Complete various general carpentry tasks as delegated by onsite foreman. • Experience operating a drill and circular saw • Painting and general bridge finishing tasks including pressure washing and sanding. • Skid steer and lull operation a must • Working with others to complete site preparation and clean-up tasks. • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions & environments. • Ability to work at various heights. • Requires substantial physical demands and hand eye coordination. • Advancement to the next level is encouraged. ***THE JOB REQUIRES TRAVEL NATIONALLY*** Wages & Benefits (after qualifying period): • Hourly wage based on qualifications (room for advancement) • Standard work week includes Overtime hours/pay • Generous Paid Holidays & Paid time off benefits • Daily Per-Diem allowance • Company paid health benefits • 401K and 4% Company contribution • Discretionary Year End Bonus • Profit Sharing Total wages and benefit package ranges from: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year ***Compensation is based on skill level & experience. *** Job Type: Full-time
