JOB SUMMARY The position is responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions in a fast-paced service parts environment and ensures all customer objectives and needs are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains regular and dependable attendance. Ability to fill customer parts requests to include picking, packing and shipping utilizing the UPS Worldship program. Enters order specific information into computer system following preparation for shipping including serial numbers and tracking information. Assists in maintaining accurate material counts on a daily basis. Ensure accuracy and reliability of data entered into computer Maintain files and records, providing reports as necessary. Assists in testing of all incoming and outgoing product to ensure quality Reviews problems with receiving paperwork (packing slips with wrong PO's, receivers) or incorrect quantity information and insures the problem is corrected. Manages the returns/ repairs of parts Willingness to help in other areas of the business when needed. Miscellaneous duties, as assigned by the Manager. Maintain stockroom inventory locations. Managing all returns such as store/faulty/damaged/transferred stock Stock all incoming parts and utilize a FIFO inventory system. Drives improvement in the issuing of materials to jobs. Review problems with stock room accuracy. Determine root cause of issues. Maintain a clean and orderly stock room/ shipping floor and inventory Receives and puts away stock orders as they are received MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Required: High School Diploma. At least 3 years parts room experience Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve (some electronics experience a plus) Ability to work independently but function within a team Ability to operate a forklift is an advantage Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Microsoft Outlook, and other computer-based software and or systems. Ability to use inventory management system (Netsuite ERP is a plus). Ability to read, write & speak English and differentiate colors (red, green & amber) Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.
