The Lawn Care Worker/Groundskeeper will be responsible for completing the following job duties at Twin Valley: Empty/clean trash and garbage containers outside and around the site campus. Empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns Follow all instructions of the Supervisor. Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined. Use the correct step by step procedure for each task. Provide cleaning for all outside areas. Provide landscaping services, including mowing, trimming, and edging. Keep all sidewalks clear of debris, leaves, branches, snow and ice. Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment. Inform the Supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences on the job. Notify Supervisor of any unusual occurrences. Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer. Maintain all equipment, supplies, and supply rooms in an orderly fashion. Interact with fellow employees, state employees and customers in a courteous and friendly manner. Qualifications: One year of custodial or lawn care experience preferred but not required. Must have a valid Drivers License with less than six points against it and a clean background. Must be able to regularly list 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
