Gig Details: Saturday, August 14, 2021 * Set Up: 12pm- 4pm Tuesday, August 17 * Break Down: 5pm- 7pm ePosterBoards is looking for local A/V-trained stagehands. Previous A/V stagehand experience is highly preferred. Take advantage of working with one of the leading event technology firms from Boston! Job Responsibilities: - Assist the operations team with unloading equipment from trucks using lift gate or loading dock at event venue - Transport equipment in road cases on wheels from loading area to event space - Assemble equipment in event space (TV stand and base units, monitors, computers, and associated cables) - Assist with connecting all of the A/V equipment - Assist with taping down and securing/managing cables - Disassemble and load all of the equipment at end of event Minimum Requirements: - Able to lift 20-45 lbs. of equipment at a time, comfortably, carefully, and safely, without hurting oneself. - Prefer candidates who are mechanically inclined and tech-savvy in general - Must have a modern cell phone and be responsive - Must dress presentably/professionally (our crew normally wears non-torn jeans and a black/dark t-shirt) - Previous experience working as an audiovisual stagehand is highly preferred - MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK BOTH SHIFTS LISTED BELOW: Please reply to this posting with your cell phone number and I will follow up with more specific information about the address and meeting up with us on site.
