General Laborer We are a land development company that has been family owned and operated for over 20 years. We provide mass excavation, grading and the installation of utilities to our customers. Job Functions Shovel, spread and rake gravel to proper thickness and grade on roadways. Assist in setting and resetting curbs. Cut and assist in laying pipe. Assist in building, repairing, and digging up manholes and water or sewer inlets with various tools and power equipment. Assist skilled workers in a variety of maintenance tasks. Perform other semi-skilled tasks. Perform related work as required Minimum Qualifications Ability to read and write. Valid Driver’s License Ability to use small machines, hand and power tools, and less complex power equipment. Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks. Ability to understand and follow oral instructions. Ability to perform heavy manual labor for long periods of time, often under adverse weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds consistently. 40 Hours per week with consistent overtime paid at time and a half. Lots of opportunity for growth!
