The Warehouse Generalist Role We are seeking a Warehouse Generalist to process and ship customer orders in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse. This role will also serve as a back-up for other positions within the warehouse. About You You’re an experienced, professional shipping (pick/pack/ship) and receiving clerk. You’ve done this before. You take pride in your knowledge of the work and your attention to detail. You’re organized, safe, and thorough. Getting it right every time drives your actions and leads to terrific results. You’re in this for the long run and don’t feel the need to switch companies often. Compensation Between $16-$18 per hour, depending on experience. What you’ll do Print pick tickets, pull orders, maintain orders as necessary in a timely and accurate manner Check orders for product accuracy and quantities ordered Package shipments timely and accurately Ship packages using various shipping methods or common carriers Ability to ship to domestic or international destination including proper paperwork and packaging Assist with inventory control and cycle counts Monitor, requisition shipping supplies Store items in a neat and orderly fashion in adherence to warehouse procedures Complete selection bin replenishment to minimize out of stocks for the picking associates Serve as a back-up for other duties in the warehouse Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Maintain prompt and regular attendance Energetic and work in fast-paced environments Ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium loads, up to 75 pounds Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods Forklift certification, or a willingness to complete forklift training within 3 months of hire Ability to use a PC and learn company computer system High school diploma or GED.
