Rescued from under a sidewalk in downtown Austin in early May, beautiful calico momma, Grace kept herself awake and always hungry as she ensured her 5 babies were fed and safe. When safely in her rescuer's home, she slept hard for hours. Grace is the best, smartest, most loving, protective, and playful momma kitty I have ever seen; and very affectionate with humans. I now understand why some rescuers keep a whole family, this family has been through so much they are very bonded; at the very least, Grace deserves a loving home with at least one of her babies, the red and white boy, Leo and the little calico with black leggings, Cami stay with her the most; however, the little calico plays with her calico sister, Callie the most, as the little runt tuxedo, Melony is very attached to her black on white brother, Drako. They are a bonded family because they have been through so much and because they have an amazing momma; it would be great if they could stay together, however, the next best thing is for them to get to go to new homes in sets of two. It makes the transition easier for them; and they entertain, exercise, groom, comfort, and play each other, making your part much easier. They may be a little shy at first but will quickly engage with their human and be affectionate, delightful kitty companions. Please be prepared for a negotiable deposit that will be refunded when they are spayed/neuters (Grace is Spayed); and for home visits before and after adoption.
