Lucy is a female, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She has beautiful markings and a sweet personality. She loves to spend time with her family. Lucy will be 2 years old in October and is small for her breed, only 9 lbs. We purchased Lucy from a breeder in Texas and had her flown up to us in Indiana. When she arrived, she was dirty and it was evident that she had not been taken care of and was likely from a puppy mill. We were told that she was great with other dogs and children. When she arrived she HATED our chihuahua and attacked her. She is very protective of her food and will not allow our chihuahua to eat. Lucy will do well in a home with someone who is home often and does NOT have other animals. She has had one litter of puppies, where she lived in Texas, and we were told she was not cut out to be a mother. I assume that is why they got rid of her. She really is a sweet dog (to people) and loves to be by your side at all times. We cannot keep her because of her aggression toward our other dog. We are looking for a GOOD home for Lucy, as she has been through a lot. Serious inquiries only! We are not just giving her away, we want to get what we paid for her...which is not cheap.
