Be a part of a family. The local Loomis team is looking to hire Full Time and Part time janitors. Essential Job Functions BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Ability to perform general housekeeping functions; such as window cleaning, mopping, sweeping, break down boxes and cardboard for recycling, etc. Areas needing cleaning include, but not limited to: bathrooms, break rooms, conference room, offices, hallways, bay floor, and department areas. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: . PERFORMANCE OF THE ABOVE FUNCTIONS REQUIRES: • Replenish paper products in bathroom stalls and hand soap and drying dispensers. • Vacuum rugs and carpets. • Dust office desks, shelves, and workspaces. • Ability to properly clean toilets, urinals, sinks, floors, etc. with cleaning solutions and equipment. • Ability to empty office waste baskets and trash cans within weight restrictions. • Ability to walk continuously between bins, vaults, booths, counters. • Ability to stand on concrete floor approximately 80 percent of shift. • Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with co-workers and • customers. • Escort vendors or other visitors as needed.. • Perform other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week. Some overtime may be required. Work is performed within an enclosed area with little or no visibility to the outdoors. Work area is air-conditioned/ heated with periodic high noise levels. Possible exposure to gasoline/diesel fumes.
