Description
The goal is to get aspiring drummers behind a kit in a place where they won't have to worry about getting fussed at or called out for drumming too loud or it not being good off the bat. I have a "soundproof" room with a basic drum set. The room is 2 layers of sheetrock with insulation between them sealed with silicone sealant inside of a garage behind my house. I personally use this room for my own practicing late into the night and have never had any complaints since building it and I've had people in my house a few hundred feet away sleep through me playing metal music, so there's no worry of anyone hearing what you play. The kit is a basic pearl kit with entry-level cymbals, one of which is developing a decent crack that doesn't yet have an impact on the tone, so you don't have to worry about breaking them, or about the crack being a problem, however over time that is subject to change.
I can also provide a set of sticks, or you can bring your own (prefer that you bring your own as mine will be a loaner set and therefore used, but it's up to you)
Essentially this is just a trial run of drumming to give you as much of the full experience as possible to see if you're interested in it or if it isn't for you, without having to go buy a kit and then return it a few weeks later.
I have been drumming for 5 years now and can come and give some basic instructions on foot placement on the pedals and the basics of drumming as well, which is included in the price.
