The Cardiovascular Nutrition lab at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE is recruiting healthy individuals for the Melatonin and Salt on Blood Vessel Function Study. It examines the effects of melatonin on a high salt diet on blood vessel function and autonomic nervous system function over two 10-day periods. You may be eligible to participate if you are between the ages of 18 and 45, have normal blood pressure (<130 mmHg and <80 mmHg), maintain a normal weight, do not have mood disorders, do not take ADHD medications, do not smoke, and have not taken antioxidant supplements nor melatonin for at least 3 months prior to the beginning of the study.
