Do you feel like you sometimes need a break from your kids? I was a single mom for years and it was really hard to find a reliable and affordable babysitter, so... Beginning September 4, I will begin offering Parents Night Out every Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in my home in Eagle Ridge in Golden (near the courthouse). I am CPR / first aid certified and take 35 hours of child development classes every year. I have 6.5 years experience working with children. I am LICENSED by the state of Colorado which means my home has been inspected and I have been background checked and fingerprinted. Ask to see my license when you visit. Use that free time to have a dinner out with your partner, run errands, or catch up on things around the house. Meanwhile, the kids and I will do fun activities, painting, crafts, games. Everyone will receive a snack. The cost is really reasonable (cheaper than most babysitters). $10/hr for the first child and $5/hr for siblings. Reservations and prepayment are required because I will only accept a max of 8 kids at one time. Parents, mark your calendars and tell your friends. I'll be happy to send you references.
