The Flooring Installer/Sander is needed to work on various job sites around the Memphis, TN area. We are seeking a hard-working individual who is wanting to learn a new trade- you will be trained by working with our staff daily. The Installer/Sander candidate must be passionate, driven, and highly motivated to help install and quickly learn effective flooring installation solutions for our customers. If you have good general construction experience and working knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment, possess a can-do attitude and prides himself on excellent quality of work, you may qualify for this position. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Preparing vehicles with proper tools and equipment for the day. • Assisting crew leader with on-site job prep. • Installing, removing, or sanding hardwood flooring. • Learning to do the job better each day. • Ability to follow directions and to meet time schedules. • Prefers working with their hands and takes pride in their work. Experience and Requirements Desired: • One (1) plus year of Construction Laborer experience and/or quick learner. • The ability to operate or knowledge of carpentry hand tools and flooring processes. • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. • A High School diploma or GED. • Carpentry services and/or Construction industry experience highly preferred. • Preferred a Tennessee and/or State of Residence valid Driver’s License.
