Maintenance Technician

Looking for a Maintenance Technician to manage our maintenance department. The ideal candidate is someone with the ability to do all minor to intermediate maintenance and repair jobs including, but not limited to: boilers carpentry plumbing repairs fixture installations drywall repair tile work Painting cleaning Other jobs as needed Must be on-call for building emergencies Conduct regular inspections to determine areas that need attention and then perform the tasks as assigned. Handle interior and exterior maintenance. Work with contractors for completing larger renovation projects. Ensure that all make ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule. Correct situations within 24 hours when possible. Maintain awareness of the physical condition of the property and immediately correct unsafe conditions. Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests (received and completed), expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work in progress, etc. Cleaning Duties Responsible for keeping buildings and the surroundings clean, presentable and usable. General Duties Must be familiar with a building's blueprints since you will need to efficiently locate, identify and assess any potential problems with the infrastructure. Must be able to work weekend shifts. English is a must. Spanish is a plus. We are looking for someone organized, reliable, self-motivated, and friendly.
