Weston & Sampson Services is seeking a Water Laborer for our municipal drinking water system in Chatham, MA. This position will provide maintenance on hydrants and the distribution system. What you’ll do: •Assist crew with Distribution system maintenance. This includes Water meter change outs, Water meter reading, valve exercising, leak detection & Digsafe mark-outs •Assist crew with groundskeeping of all Well sites, treatment plants & storage tank site •Complete reports in a timely and complete manner •Assist crew with Hydrant maintenance program. This includes painting, winterizing, flushing & pressure testing •Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor •This position may require work overtime, holidays, weekends and on call on a rotating basis What you’ll bring: •High school diploma or equivalent •Self-motivated and ability to work independently. •Strong mechanical skills and good communication skills •The ability to meet deadlines •Valid driver’s license with good driving record for travel in New England www.westonandsampson.com/join-our-team
