National company seeking part-time service workers for our Pembroke Mall Location in Virginia Beach, VA. The hours for this position are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM -Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Responsible for cleaning inside and outside of the mall, removing debris, scraping gum off sidewalk and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Sweep and mop floors. Dust mop and auto scrub tile floors. Clean mall by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces. Clean and disinfect restrooms. Steam-clean and shampoo carpets. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains from carpet. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using proper cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust and polish furniture. Work outside in hot and cold weather. Vacuum clean carpets and rugs Empty and clean trash containers Clean wash basins and mirrors Clean entrance windows Sort, wash, load and unload laundry Operate mechanized cleaning equipment Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in safe working condition.
