Bolt Design Group is a Design + Build Firm specializing in Hospitality, Retail, Office, & High-End Residential Projects. Our team is seeking a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent to join our team to aide in the management of our several construction projects across the New York & New Jersey area. Our team is constructing an in-house fabrication facility for small scale fabrication and prototyping. We are looking for a candidate who is a problem-solver and great communicator to lead our job-sites and communicate on-going construction activity to our Project Management Team as well as the clients involved in each project. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - COMMUNICATION - Communicate and Coordinate onsite needs to the project manager - SAFETY - Maintain site safety protocols - SITE MANAGEMENT - Assist in Coordination and execution of the site work plan - QUALITY CONTROL - Provide quality control during all subcontractor and Installations - ASSEST MANAGEMENT - Maintain site tool and materials inventory to align with project requirements - MATERIAL MANAGEMENT - Maintain project labor and material efficiency PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES: - TRADE MANAGEMENT - The efficient implementation of company labor and material resources to achieve the goals set out by the project staff and contract documents - CONSTRUCTION REPORTS - Production of the Daily Site Construction Reports - SITE MANAGEMENT - Safe filing and coordination of all Site Documentation (drawings, submittals, permits, etc.) - SITE SAFETY - Maintain a safe, clean, and responsible job site We are looking for a candidate with the following experience: - Minimum 5-10 years of on-site construction experience in the New York area - Knowledge of Blueprints and the ability to read, understand, and communicate architectural drawings to all trades - Familiarity of Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Project Management Software - Knowledge of Interior Framing systems and Finish Carpentry - Extensive knowledge of common building systems and components ( Steel, concrete, masonry, Mechanical Systems, Electrical, Framing, Carpentry and Finishes) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to thrive and work within a fast-pasted ever-evolving working environment
