Know how to rock it and deliver powerful, articulate and smooth bass lines for original music, different flavors and hybrids of rock. Influences: Zeppelin, The Beach Boys, The Replacements, Slade, The Buzzcocks, Simon and Garfunkle, Link Wray and the Raymen, Badfinger, Slade, Nirvana, R.L. Burnside, Squeeze, Lindsey Buckinham and lots more. Bring a good set of ears for carving out parts. We need an accomplished musician so indie, alternative, or intermediate players don't do it for us. We're not taking on a placeholder hoping they will improve or someone who is just ok until someone better comes along. That's fair to all as we are on the up and up in the integrity department. Background vocals and harmonizing would be really helpful, although it won't be needed on every song. But when we do need it we want to do 2 or 3 part harmony behind our Female lead vocalist and have it sound really good. Manhattan rehearsals.
