Starts Tuesday, September 14th (Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) Starts Tuesday, September 14th (Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks) Learn metalsmithing in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Begin by learning how to handle the necessary tools and equipment. You will then set out on several projects, making rings, bracelets and earrings, and perfecting skills in techniques like forging, texturizing and soldering. A class overview can be emailed upon request. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.   Fee does not include materials. Supply kit available from instructor for $20 when series begins. Additional supplies available to purchase separately as needed for class projects. About the instructor: Kim Round got her degree in art at Florida State University and taught jewelry workshops in Tallahassee, FL before making the move back home to Maine. She has been teaching Beginning Metalsmithing and other workshops at Artascope since 2016 and is thrilled to be part of a friendly & creative community.
