Do you have a 3rd-5th grade student interested in creating, tinkering, and problem-solving? Join the week-long Maker Competition for prizes! Join SAM Labs and Portland Public Schools for a week-long maker challenge where students learn foundational coding skills, push the limits of creativity, and solve real world challenges. At the end of the week, students present their prototype for the chance to win cash prizes! We will be running two, week-long competitions across 8 different Elementary and Middle Schools in Portland. No prior coding experience is necessary.
