Tommy Lepson and the Bad Dawgs live at Gloria's
The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance is pleased to welcome Tommy Lepson and the Bad Dawgs to Gloria's Listening Room. These legendary DC area bluesmen will command listeners' attention with an evening of rocking blues and swinging grooves. Keyboardist and vocal powerhouse, Tommy Lepson has long been a legend in the D.C area. With 24 "Wammie" awards (Washington Area Music Awards) to his name, he was inducted into the WAMA Hall Of Fame in 2008. Known for his soulful vocals and Hammond organ playing, Tommy has released multiple albums under his own name and is also known for his work with many other prominent artists including Nils Lofgren, Root Boy Slim, and Tom Principato. The Bad Dawgs will feature Gary Crockett on drums, Mike Davis on bass, and Washington area blues master Paul Bell (and former Nighthawk and Nils Lofgren alumnus) on guitar. Tickets are $20, seating is limited, and advance purchase is recommended. Children 12 and under admitted free with parent. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert will begin at 8pm. Gloria's Concessions Bar will be open with refreshments and light snacks available. Proceeds will go to The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization.
